Praemittias Defense Solutions is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a position based in Ft Belvoir, VA. Work is expected to begin in August 2013.
Description
The Senior Test Engineer shall design and develop tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment. Troubleshoot problems and documents findings of tests. Define testing processes and ensures tests adhere to established standards. May participate in quality assurance plan development. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced test engineers. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to possess and maintain a TS/SCI.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5-8 years of related experience in testing, engineering or quality assurance.
ITIL V3 Foundation certification required within 60 days of start date.
Qualifications/Certifications (Preferred)
Seek individuals that have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Systems, Monitoring tools, Server/Network Tools etc.
