Full Description
ITT Exelis is seeking a junior level Linux Systems Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for providing technical tier II and III support to several mission systems. The selected individual will also be responsible for working with and engineering secure Linux loads, and will interact with the systems engineers to assist in engineering new systems.
Required Experience:
*Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 5-8 years
* 6 years experience in computer systems and IT
* Fluent in Linux (Redhat Certification desired)
* Experience working with secure Linux loads, networks and IP protocols
* Knowledgeable of LAN protocols
* Some experience conducting software runtime analysis, debugging, and security testing
* Understanding of cryptographic principles and cryptographic protocols
Desired Skills:
* Centrify
* PERL Scripting
* VMWare
