Defense Travel System and Invoice Support Analyst

Key Role:

Support for DOD applications, such as the Defense travel system (DTS), invoicing, receipt, acceptance, and property transfer (iRAPT) system, and contracting officer representative tool (CORT). Serve as SME for all travel requirements for military and civilians.  Track all obligations and disbursements in DTS and monitor the funding status of the DTS and inform SDD resource management government personnel when the balances are falling below $10,000, so additional funding can be loaded in the accounts. Prepare ad hoc reports as required detailing travel expenses by traveler or groups of travelers for a specific trip location. Provide DTS template quarterly reports with recommendations on how the travel can be performed more economically based on the last 3 months of travel. Input all financial information into the Defense initiative, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), or similar financial systems as directed by Defense guidance and subordinate activities directions, track and monitor all expenses in posting invoices into the SDD Project Management Assessment Tool (PMAT). Support the invoicing process by tracking invoices submitted to the iRAPT system, and work with variety of stakeholders, including government officials, inspector, acceptor, reviewer, and approver, and vendors to enable timely and accurate payments, and decrease interest penalties.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience working in a professional environment

-Ability to maintain accurate records

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the DoD

-Knowledge of the Defense Travel System

-Secret clearance
